The first real test of summit readiness. The hills in the Beskydy are a demanding test for everyone in the pack. The climb up to Pustevny is the most demanding stage and with the number of vertical metres it is the hardest test. If someone comes with the goal of winning the Czech Tour, they have to be at the front and make sure no one leaves unexpectedly. It will be easy to gain an advantage on the final climb.

Zlín is located in the eastern part of Moravia, on the border of the Hostýn and Vizovice Mountains. Its location extends into three ethnographic regions. its character is closest to Wallachia. The town lies in a valley through which the Dřevnice River flows along its entire length. Its surroundings consist of hilly and hilly terrain. The town was made famous in the first half of the twentieth century by the founder of shoe factories, Tomáš Bat'a. The local functionalist architecture is unique, the town centre with the factory complex and residential quarters built during the time of the greatest boom of the Bata company is a conservation area. In 2001, the Tomáš Bata University was founded in Zlín.

Pustevny
Pustevny is a saddle in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains near Radhošť, which belongs to the village of Prostřední Bečva. It was named after the hermits who lived here until 1874. Typical of Pustevny are wooden buildings built in the folk style at the end of the 19th century on the design of Dušan Jurkovič.
